From Our Pastor
Welcome to Parkside Community Church!
It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the pastor here at ParkSide Community Church!
First and foremost, let me express my deep gratitude for the warmth and love that defines our church family. It is truly heartwarming to see the way we support one another through life’s ups and downs, living out the teachings of Jesus in our everyday lives. Our church and community is a testament to the transformative power of faith and fellowship.
In these ever-changing times, we are faced with challenges and opportunities that call for unwavering faith and resilience. As we navigate this journey together, I want to remind you of the boundless love and grace of our Creator. It is through our faith and trust in Jesus that we find strength and courage to face whatever comes our way.
Our church is not just a place of worship; it is a sanctuary where we find solace, guidance, and inspiration. It is a place where we come together to grow spiritually, to deepen our understanding of God’s word, and to support one another in our individual journeys of faith.
It is through active involvement and a shared commitment to our mission that we can truly make a difference in our community and beyond.
Remember that our church is a beacon of hope, a place of refuge, and a source of love and compassion. I am excited to see where our collective faith leads us, and I am confident that, together, we will continue to make a positive impact on the lives of those we touch.
If you ever have questions, concerns, or simply wish to chat, please know that my door is always open. I am here to support you, to pray with you, and to help guide you on your spiritual journey.
Matthew 25:23 is a powerful verse that speaks to the rewards of faithful stewardship and the importance of using our talents and resources wisely in service to God.
“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!'”
In this verse, we find a profound message of encouragement and promise. It reminds us that when we are faithful and responsible stewards of the gifts, talents, and resources that God has entrusted to us, He rewards us with even greater blessings and responsibilities. It is a reminder of the abundant grace and joy that awaits those who faithfully serve and honor God with their lives.
As we reflect on Matthew 25:23, let us be inspired to continue using our gifts and resources for God’s glory, knowing that our faithfulness is recognized and that God has even greater things in store for us. May we strive to hear those words, “Well done, good and faithful servant,” and be eager to share in the joy of our Heavenly Master.
May God’s blessings be upon each and every one of you. Let us continue to be a shining light of faith and love in our community.
With love and prayers,
Sincerely,
Pastor Brian

Frequently Asked Questions
What is worship like?
A worship service at our church is a time when our community comes together to connect with God through prayer, song, and reflection.
It typically includes singing hymns or worship songs, listening to a message from our pastor that relates to our faith and daily life, and sharing in moments of prayer.
We welcome everyone, whether you’re a longtime member or visiting for the first time, to join us in this time of spiritual renewal and fellowship. Come as you are, and let’s worship together.
I have children. How does worship work for us? Can I bring them?
Absolutely, kids are welcome in church! We embrace families of all sizes. Feel free to bring your children with you. We have programs and spaces where they can learn and have fun while you worship. Your little ones are a cherished part of our community, and their presence enriches our congregation.
Nursery care is available during both the early and late services. Childrens Church is offered during the 10:30am service only. We love Children!
How should we dress for worship?
Dressing for church is simple: Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and respectful. You don’t need fancy clothes; just be yourself, casual is fine. We’re here to worship, not judge your outfit. So, come as you are, and focus on your connection with God
Do we need to give an offering? How does that work?
Giving an offering at church is a way to support the church’s mission and ministries, but you should never feel pressured or obligated to give if you’re unable or uncomfortable. Your presence and participation in worship are what matter most to us.
Where should I park? How do I get to the worship area?
Parking is located off of S Maple Street. You then enter the building on the North side, using the door located under the driveway overhang. Proceed into the building and go past the drinking fountain on the right, and walk right. Take the first right after that and you will find the fellowship hall. The next door on the right is the sactuary. If you get lost, just ask!
I'm nervous in new social situations. Will I have to talk to people?
It’s completely okay to feel nervous about attending church and talking to strangers. Many people feel the same way.
Just remember, everyone at church was once new and understands what it’s like. Take it one step at a time, and don’t pressure yourself to do more than you’re comfortable with.
You’ll find that church can be a welcoming and supportive place, and over time, those nervous feelings will likely fade as you make new friends and connections.
I have a disability. Can I still participate in worship?
Absolutely, you can attend church with a disability. Our church is committed to being accessible to all.
If you have any specific needs or requests, please let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Your presence is valued and welcomed, and we look forward to having you as part of our church family.
